I was busier with family and social stuff over the weekend than I anticipated, not to mention I went into work for a few hours yesterday, and then I was wicked tired the rest of the time, so I did not quite finish GEE’s (hee, funny acronym) synopsis as I had hoped. However, since Ginger is in Italy this week I still have plenty of time to whip it into shape!
I hope. 😉
Knocked out most of the longer synopsis for Red Hot Fury’s potential sequel, Green Eyed Envy tonight. I already finished a briefer synopsis (more like a query hook or back cover blurb), and am very glad that I got most of the longer one finished. Been poking at it for several days. I’m hoping to finish it soon, and then of course I’ll have to let it sit a bit and then re-read to make sure it doesn’t completely suck.
*crosses her fingers*
Once I knock this out, I’ll move back to one of my WIPs until Ginger returns from her trip to Bologna and has time to do the revision letter for RHF. Oddly, I’m looking forward to it!
I am beyond thrilled to announce that I have accepted an offer of representation from literary agent Ginger Clark with the Curtis Brown Literary Agency. Ginger represents a fantastic roster of clients who write in my genre (as well as others) and I am absolutely awed to be in their company. She’s an amazing agent and I know that both my manuscript and I will be in terrific hands.
Can I just let out one little squee, please? Squee!
Thanks to everyone who has supported me and commiserated with me during my agent search. I won’t forget it!
My husband is such a keeper. Not only did he take me out for dinner last night to celebrate my two agent offers of representation (eek, still can’t believe how lucky I am), he also surprised me with a digital wireless mouse for my laptop today. He knows how much I HATE the touch screen thingie on laptops. *sigh* He’s such a wonderful husband and father. Sorry for getting temporarily gushy, but he really does deserve it. He is hella supportive of my writing and does so much to take care of Baby Boy and me…
Anyway…I’ve pretty much decided which agent to sign with, but won’t be making any official announcements until I’ve let them both know. Thanks to everyone for their support, comments, advice, and just plain ole listening to me spout off. It’s very appreciated!
